Stratis Fine Art Conservation was founded in 2015 by Harriet Stratis, former Research Conservator of Prints and Drawings and Head of Paper Conservation at the Art Institute of Chicago.
In her private practice, Harriet applies the same level of craftsmanship, connoisseurship, and scientific and technical expertise that gained her international recognition in the field of art conservation during her 30+ years working for some of the nation’s most prestigious institutions.
Harriet has been an active member and Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation since 1990, and all of SFAC’s services comply with the organization’s ethical standards for the treatment of cultural heritage.
